Piranesi LAB - an Experimental Printing Lab - a platform for printing professionals and hobbyists. It is space for learning and experimenting in print, design and other creative practices.

The main activities of the Experimental Printing Laboratory Piranesi LAB.

1. Open printing workshops.
A place where everyone can print everything they need with their own hands. Independently or with the support of consultants.
We provide:
– equipped professional areas for screen printing (UV screen printing and water-based inks), letterpress printing (crucible press and etching machines), etching and aquatint; manual photo printing.
– the ability to produce high-quality printouts on large-format photo printers
- equipment for the manufacture of various types of manual binding.
Materials can be brought with you or purchased locally. Working with laboratory resources is paid by the hour. For members of the club of friends, there is an opportunity to work in the laboratory for free in exchange for help and participation in the activities of the laboratory.

2. Professional printing services.
Commercial printing of artistic small-circulation products. From prints to art souvenirs. Our main customers and partners: artists, galleries, museums; cultural and educational institutions.
The possibility of collaborative printing: the joint work of the artist and the master printer, realizing their creative ideas in a variety of graphic techniques.

3. Educational project.
Conducting master classes, seminars and practical classes with invited teachers and residents of the laboratory. The topics of master classes are related to printing, publishing and artistic processes.

4. Exhibition activities, celebrations and presentations.
In the space of the laboratory, once every two weeks, exhibitions of artists of various trends and ages involved in print graphics and photography are held. The laboratory plans to turn the site into a place of communication for like-minded people by holding regular holidays, parties and parties. The range of events is wide: from dances to movie screenings.

5. Publishing project.
Preparation of own thematic subject publications on graphics, printing processes and related fields. Publication of catalogs of all exhibitions held in the laboratory. Preparation of printed publications to order, especially publications in the publication of which the competence of residents and friends of the laboratory can be useful.

6. Online courses on graphic technologies.
– systematization and compilation of an open knowledge base on printing technologies
– preparation of photo and video materials
– transcription and publication of reports and video master classes
– production and sale of DIY kits for hand printing.
